Spent late March through early May in Ireland at Tyrone Guthrie Center

Early Spring in Ireland is blissful: part winter and part blooms in equal measure. A wild duck created a beautiful nest of blue eggs right next to the house. Some days the frost sprinkled glitter on everything in the early morning light. I enjoyed long walks everyday in the green rural surroundings of County Monaghan and long hours working in the gorgeous print studio. Every artist, writer, photographer, musician, playwright I met there was beyond brilliant and it was a great honor to spend time getting to know them and their creative processes. I created new relief mono prints that had nothing to do with letterforms…a nice departure from the last few years….So very grateful for this experience!
