Joey Hannaford is an award-winning printmaker, designer, typographer, lettering artist and educator. She holds a BFA in graphic design and an MFA in printmaking from the University of Georgia, Athens, GA, USA. Joey has developed a teaching philosophy and creative practice that have a reputation for incorporating fiercely imperfect handmade/analog processes [lettering, letterpress printing, and drawing] into digital contexts. Joey presents widely at national and international conferences and has taught workshops in the US, Europe and Asia. Her work has been exhibited in venues such as at the National Print Museum, Dublin, Ireland, Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, England, and University of Notre Dame, Indiana.
